How we use funds

We are a small organization and we spend accordingly. Donations pay for producing and hosting the 12 Precepts of Recovery course, facilitating support sessions, filming and editing recovery stories, maintaining the curated resource directory, and the administrative costs of running a nonprofit (filings, insurance, payment processing and this website). As our recovery-center plans in New York, Maryland and Florida move forward, we will publish how restricted gifts for those projects are held and spent.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade donor or visitor information.
We do not accept paid placement, affiliate or referral fees from any organization listed in our resource directory.
We do not provide medical or mental health treatment, and no donation is ever a condition of receiving support from us.
