How listings work
The Ways to Healing directory has two layers: national organizations on each of the four paths, and individual specialists by state. The state pages are built from public professional rosters, and every person on them is matched to an active record in the federal NPI Registry before publication.
What we need
- An active license in the state where you practice, and your NPI number.
- A public roster or directory entry we can open: for example the CPT Provider Roster, a certifying body for Prolonged Exposure or EMDR, or a state licensing board page.
- A phone number, email or website that families can use to reach you.
- Public materials that describe your work plainly, without promised outcomes.
What we do not list
- Experimental, unapproved, device-based or product-based modalities marketed for post-traumatic stress.
- Paid placements, affiliate links or sponsored entries of any kind.
- Clinicians reachable only through a government agency (we link to the VA and Vet Center locators instead).
We review requests by hand and reply by email. A listing can be declined or removed at any time, and inclusion is not an endorsement. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.
