Carol Lombard Clark, was the director of the year in a feature film documentary of the global film competition and she has traveled around the world twice to 18 countries and 30 states with her mission to help the families of the veterans affected with PTSD. She has a deep understanding of the causes and conditions of the illness as she filmed her personal journey and interviewing men and women that have been in war and people affected by war. Her work has transcended and is becoming a worldwide movement with 12 anonymous precepts of recovery to help others with their process. The percepts are copyrighted in the Library of Congress in Washington DC. As she began her film journey inspired by being affected herself with these secondary transgenerational effects of PTSD as both of her grandparents were in World War 1 and her Father World War 11 and loosing her boyfriend in the VietNam War in October of 1967.Carol felt so much pain and suffering that she went out to understand why we choose to be in war and how to help herself and others recover from an array of vast effects as she will be displaying what she did for herself to recover and continue to do so as many modalities that helped her and it will also help others to recover as well.
With a power greater than herself who she calls the Holy Spirit; she created a poster with the guidence of her business partner Yonaton Colon that shows the unity of many religions and people who inspired her: Caroline’s Poster. Her next two films will be coming soon. Back when she started her films 2007 she was a registered democrat however she in her evolution with so much expereince she became an Independent who likes so many good solutions on both sides of the isle. With other issues she feels inside her heart that all life is precious especially innocent babies as she lost two of her babies and is a Pro-Life and an Anti-War Advocate and wants to live in Peace with all her brothers and sisters around the globe and wants everyone to heal from the sadness of war. “Let's support the innocent” as she knows the grief it can cause, as she has lost her Mother at age 46, 47 years ago, her brother Chris at age 37; 30 years ago, her Father 20 years ago, her sister Katherine 13 years ago and her Brother Bill 5 years ago. It is her hope that although her family of origin didn’t have the understanding that she has learned in her journey she is so glad that other families will heal from the efforts of her mission. She is so very grateful to the thousands of people who participated in this effort to make the world a better place by sharing their stories as it helps people to know they're not alone and there's support out there in so many ways. Her 5 award winning documentary film produced and directed by her now has a non-profit organization, Global Recovery Inc., is raising funds to build the imminent and certainly needed Global Recovery Center that will continue her efforts to help the families heal.
